Creating Pathways was conceived in 2014, and is considered the first initiative of its kind for BAME lawyers working in private practice and in-house. BAME lawyers suffer higher attrition rates than their non-BAME colleagues. In response to this stark truth, the Creating Pathways programme is designed to fuel the pipeline of BAME lawyers into partnership or the equivalent through providing cross-firm mentorship from senior BAME lawyers.

The committee meets once every two months and responsibilities include being involved in all aspects of the committee from engaging new and potential Creating Pathways candidates and mentors, producing evaluation reviews, co-ordinating events, eliciting and managing feedback, creating surveys, etc.

If you are interested in joining the committee and would like to apply, please send your CV and a brief cover letter to: bsncity@blacksolicitorsnetwork.org by 5pm on October 3, 2022.
